On 28th May 2026, World Menstrual Hygiene Day, we wrapped up our very first PadHER project.

With Country Observers Mission on Governance (COMoG), in partnership with Z-Connect Network, we took a menstrual health and hygiene sensitization to Hoẽ R.C. Primary School and Hoẽ M.A. JHS in the Ho Municipality.

The PadHER session with learners at Hoẽ, Ho Municipality.

150 learners, one honest conversation

We engaged 150 learners from Basic 4 to Basic 8. We ran education sessions on menstrual health and hygiene, and donated sanitary pads to the girls.

What mattered most to me was the conversation itself. We talked openly, corrected the myths, and encouraged both girls and boys to understand and support one another. Menstruation shouldn’t be something a girl has to hide from her classmates, and boys are part of breaking that silence.

Change begins in the classroom

The participation from the students and their teachers was truly inspiring. This milestone showed me again that when communities collaborate, change begins in the classroom. It’s the same belief behind my teaching work: give young people honest information early, and they carry it forward.

To everyone who supported, sponsored and volunteered for this initiative: thank you. Your contributions made this impact possible.

Let’s keep educating, spreading awareness, and breaking the stigma around menstruation.

Observation • Insight • Accountability.

Work together

Let’s build something meaningful.

Have a product to build, a brand to shape, or a class to teach? I’d love to hear about it.
