What it is
SukuuData is an education data API for Ghana. It lets developers build school search, comparison and placement tools without assembling the data themselves.
What’s in the data
- The 2026 GES placement register for SHS, SHTS and TVET schools, public and pilot private.
- School categories, programmes, gender policies and boarding status, with regions and districts.
- BECE selection rules and the official CSSPS placement guidelines.
What you can build with it
- Typo-tolerant school search and autocomplete, plus nearby-school discovery.
- Placement recommendations, ranked with explanations.
- CSSPS 2026 rule validation for a candidate’s choices.
- CSV and GeoJSON exports, register history with data provenance, and webhooks for data changes.
Open source
The official JavaScript and Python clients, a Postman collection and an example app are open source on GitHub.
My role
SukuuData is built at Nerds IV Technologies, where I’m a co-founder. I maintain the public SDK repository.
